Everything Pinvas adds to Blender, read from the add-on itself. Most commands are in the board's right-click menu; the menu names are on Add and edit pictures.
Commands#
| Operator | Id | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Add to Pinvas Board | pinvas.drop_media | Put the dropped pictures on the board, where they were dropped |
| Arrange | pinvas.arrange | Arrange the selected pictures |
| Board | pinvas.board | Boards |
| Board View | pinvas.view | Change what the board shows or selects |
| Drawing as Grease Pencil | pinvas.send_drawing | Send the selected drawings to the scene as a Grease Pencil object (notes are not sent) |
| Edit Pictures | pinvas.edit | Change the selected pictures |
| Export as PNG | pinvas.export_png | Save the whole board as one PNG picture (to send to a client or a teammate) |
| Export Board | pinvas.export_board | Save this board as a .pinvas file, to bring it into another .blend (still pictures travel inside it, videos by their path) |
| Frame | pinvas.add_frame | A titled frame that holds the selection and fits round it (Shift+P), or an empty one where the mouse was. Moving it moves what it holds |
| Import Board | pinvas.import_board | Bring in a board saved as a .pinvas file, as a new board |
| Import Pictures | pinvas.import_media | Add pictures from disk to the board |
| Make Palette | pinvas.palette | A palette of the selected picture's main colours, for Texture Paint and Grease Pencil |
| Note | pinvas.add_note | Type a note on the board (double-click a note to change it) |
| Opacity | pinvas.opacity | See through the selected pictures |
| Overlay | pinvas.overlay | See through the board to the viewport: pictures at the overlay opacity, every click and key away from the bar goes to the viewport, so you can model or trace through it |
| Pack Pictures into the .blend | pinvas.pack | Pack every picture on the board into the .blend, so the file carries them when it is moved or sent |
| Paste | pinvas.paste | Put the picture on the clipboard on the board (a copied image, a screenshot, or picture files copied in your file manager) |
| Proportion Grid | pinvas.grid | Draw a proportion grid over the selected pictures |
| Remove from Frame | pinvas.remove_from_frame | Take the selected items out of their frames; they stay where they are (Alt+P) |
| Send to Pinvas | pinvas.send_sequence | Render the video editor's edit and add it to the Pinvas board as a video (the scene's output settings are left as they were) |
| Send to Scene | pinvas.send | Use the selected picture in the scene |
| Shrink | pinvas.frame_shrink | The selected frames fit tightly round what they hold. Off, a frame keeps its size unless what it holds needs more; resizing one by hand turns this off |
| Snapshot | pinvas.snapshot | Put the last render, or the viewport as it is now, on the board |
| Use Picked Colour | pinvas.use_colour | Use the colour the eyedropper (E) last picked |
| Values | pinvas.values | Check the selected pictures' values: brightness, contrast and posterize (shown only on the board) |
| Video | pinvas.video | Change the selected videos |
