Getting to know the panel

Start by choosing a template at the top. Below it, you’ll find its settings, preview and Apply controls.

Find the motion

Search by the job you want to do—blink, drawer, clock—or browse categories. Generic templates are reusable building blocks; tailored templates put a familiar task behind named controls. Only templates included in your edition appear. Driver Espresso and Premium also provide Favorites & Recent.

What is a channel?

A channel can mean one component of a coordinated result, such as an RGB component or a clock hand's role. Read the template's own instructions: applying one role to one object is different from applying an entire multi-channel transform recipe.

Graph versus Visual Preview

Graph Preview is in every edition. It shows the sampled output over time. Taller means a larger value; more repeats in the same span mean a faster rhythm. A flat graph may be a held result, a time window you have not reached, or an input that is not changing.

Visual Preview is Premium-only. It illustrates the sampled motion with a relevant subject. It is an interpretation of the output, not a replacement for checking your actual scene. A lamp preview does not add lights or geometry to your file.

Where available, Template previews the recipe, while Active Target follows a resolved applied target. Source and Evaluation distinguish the base recipe from the output with application shaping such as Rest Start.

Parameters, presets and reset

Presets give you somewhere to start. You can change them as much as you like. Change one control at a time and use its tooltip to learn the unit and intent. Resetting a parameter or draft is not the same as removing the applied driver. Check whether you are in Setup or Live before resetting.

Read before applying

The apply area reports the destination and may warn about replacing an existing effect. The button wording depends on the template and current state. Verify the object, property and channel; a green preview does not mean the destination is the one you intended.
